| Twice before we tried to do a live
show,
and both attempts were a miserable failure. We were hesitant
to try
again, but I'm happy to say that things seem to have gone relatively
well
for this test. There are still going to be some details to hammer out
for
the future, and a lot of you that listen to the podcasts are going to
prefer
to keep doing that and not even try to listen live, but we think it's
going
to be a way to bring in some new listeners, and we're excited anytime
we can
offer you improvements.
As for the show itself, we had the usual great time, and we
had
some great guests. Plus, everybody joined us through Skype,
which
means the audio quality was better than usual for all of our guests.
Maja
was just as interesting and fun to talk to as he is talented. And Seamonkey
was fun in his completely twisted way. Both are going to be friends
from the
show from now on, and we look forward to benefitting from their
talents for
a long time to come. Oh, and did you hear that our favorite little
vegetarian
blondie joined us for SYN this week? KSweeney makes her first
appearance in
way too long, and now that she's hooked up with Skype, we're looking
forward
to having her on more and more often. Now if we can just get her to
Reading
every week to be our 5th host...
